Featured Project: Engineering a Coastal Drop Tower for Extreme Conditions

One of our recent engineering successes involved serving as the ride engineer for a European manufacturer installing a drop tower near a U.S. coastal location. We performed finite element analyses, provided redesigns as required, completed physical testing, and offered on-site installation and commissioning support.

Within the first two months of operation, the site experienced two major real-world tests: a Category 1 hurricane with winds reaching 76 mph and a magnitude 5.8 earthquake.
